I have driven down Mc Auleys lane near Mullumbimby for many years on my way home; at this one place along the road it opens out onto this expansive view of Mt Wolumbin, Mt Chincogan and the rain forested hills. I am sure many of you are very familiar with this magical spot on the road, a place where I feel compelled to stop, and forget the destination, and allow myself to be seduced by this beauty. This evening at sunset was no exception, the exquisiteness of after the storm ~ the smell of the rain and the forest, the dark and the light ~ the silence This beautiful place I call home, takes me home.
